I chose Regan & Hallworth to go on my short list to sell my house after comparing their websites with other Estate Agents in my area. I liked their clear presentation of their service, the transparent detail of their fees and the fact that they claimed to sell more properies than any other estate agent in the area. The latter claim i had already noticed myself as it was very apparent that those properties with a Regan & Hallworth board sold quickly.
The first contact was with Andrew Regan himself when he came to inspect my property and advise me of a proposed selling price. I knew that it would be difficult to pinpoint a price range as mine was an individual, unusual property and not on an estate; other agents had struggled to hit on a figure. However, Andrew had done his homework and was able to tell me he has assessed my home comparing with specific, similar properties in his catchment area.
My next contact was with the agent, Sarah, who was dedicated to my property. I was totally impressed with her enthusiasm, her knowledge and commitment and felt fully supported at times. She dispalyed a cool head, and a caring nature throughout what is for we vendors, a nerve racking experience. She was a first class organiser and streamlined the viewings for minimum disruption. Suffice to say they sold my property within 2 weeks achieving more than the asking price after advising me of the fairest way to sort out the 3 committed buyers.
My buyers commented positively on the reception they received at the Parbold Agency when they were making their original enquiries there. A sold sign was immediately affixed to the Board and i was kept informed of the likely progress and timescales to reach completion.
Overall, I formed an impression of strong leadership, a well organised, highly motivated staff and a slick organisation constantly focused on achieving the sale.
